The role of Finance Business Partner is to provide outstanding business partnering support to the IT ESA directorate, being a critical friend to partners, providing valuable insight to ensure that budgets are met and understood.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure Capex and Opex portfolio is well balanced and support project approval process.

Manage budget and financial control for IT ESA functions and analyse proposed capital, operating, and FTE expenditures, ensuring best use of scarce resources for return, including supporting approval forums.

Produce reports and analysis related to impact of budgetary decisions made within IT ESA functions

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Professional Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of business case production and critique 
  • Process improvement 
The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Management of Capex, Opex and FTE budgets 
  • Project accounting experience 
  • Ability to challenge senior stakeholders
