We have a 6 month, fixed term contract opportunity for a Partner Analyst to join our Partner Management Team.
Virgin Media O2 has embarked on a major, once in a generation network infrastructure investment to deliver ultrafast broadband and services across its existing network footprint and customer base. In a nutshell, the Fibre Upgrade Programme is all about delivering the network technology to make this a reality. This opportunity will work closely with the senior leadership team of our Fibre Upgrade Programme to provide administrative, analytical and reporting support.
The role holder will also conduct Partner analysis, insights and reporting for our Design and Construction (D&C) Team. The D&C Team are accountable for c100 Partners with the role holder taking responsibility for a significant part of our overall D&C budget. The role holder will proactively work with business stakeholders and a range of external partners.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare our quarterly reporting for the Senior Operational Review (SOR) Meetings. Collating and reporting on key commercial performance data that will enable the Fibre Upgrade programme to identify and mitigate key commercial risks as well as help to target improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction opportunities and efficiency gains. The role holder will ensure timely, consistent and accurate data collection, analysis and reporting of all key commercial and operational metrics. The role holder will lead ‘lessons learned’ sessions after the quarterly SORs and adopt a continuous improvement process.
- Lead wider analysis and reporting activities relating to the commercial and contractual performance of Partners including those delivering services into the Fibre Upgrade Programme.
- Budget Management for a group of Partners to ensure we remain in budget and minimise costs. Accountable for raising POs, budget forecasting and receipting of invoices..
- Prepare a weekly round-up of the key industry news to share across the FibreUpgrade team.
- Act as the main point of contact for a range of ‘transactional’ Partners within the Design and Construction team.
- Support with wider administration and analytical requirements on an ad hoc basis as needed. For example, team meeting minutes, one off analysis and reporting requirements.
- Support the Partner Managers with Partner governance including contract trees and ad hoc support.

- Experience managing and leading senior stakeholder meetings to support reporting and governance requirements with the ability to demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Experience producing high quality Microsoft PowerPoint presentation reports for the Programme & Senior Leadership. The ability to present information clearly and concisely. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are also essential.
- An understanding of the standards, tools, processes, systems and frameworks for successful governance. Experience working within a Partner Management capacity would be beneficial.
- Experience working within a ‘continuous improvement’, ‘customer first’ culture with the experience of adopting a ‘Can Do’ and proactive mindset.
- Experience of all Microsoft Office applications and working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
- Administrative and Analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
