Technical Product Owner

This role partners closely with the VM Business, IT and Supplier(s) to evaluate and prioritise delivery of Strategy, project, NPC and in-life change. It Aligns to Core IT Delivery teams. This role is accountable for driving continuous change and improvement, taking full responsibility for activities across the domain and ensuring managed services, SOW’s and other supplier deliverables are to a quality required by Virgin Media o2.

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• Lead technical expert. Provides thought leadership and defines strategic direction from a technical perspective.
• Deep understanding and experience of software and hardware deployed
• Experience of analysing, assessing and resolving complex technology requirements, problems and issues
• Strong Governance and Management skills with a proven track record of delivering IT services
• Proven experience of managing technical projects and teams

We'd also love you to bring;

• Input to the Strategy and Roadmap for each of the Applications within *PAYG and OCS/CCS platforms across VMO2.
• Prioritise AD demand across applications, chairing forums to co-ordinate demand, with the engagement of internal and external teams.
• Deliver high quality management of a Supplier Managed Service, stepping in when required ensuring standards are maintained and continuous service improvement is in place.
• Responsible for alignment of the Applications to the End State Architecture (ESA) and interfacing with respective Enterprise Architects.
• Interface to managed service and / or supplier counterpart(s) to ensure accurate Impact Assessments are crafted.
