Join the force to deliver stellar commercial outcomes by connecting over 8.5 million Smart Meters across the Central and South regions of the UK. As a key Jedi in our mission, you'll help us fulfill our service and supply obligations, aligning with the government's initiative to roll out smart meters across the galaxy, aiming to reduce the UK's energy consumption, costs, and carbon emissions!

You will wield your lightsaber of commercial and contract rigor to ensure we improve the financial returns of Smart Metering against the budget and three-year plans (3YP) and beyond. As a vital member of our team within the broader Wholesale Mobile and Indirect P&L division, which includes MVNO, Wholesale IoT, Wholesale/Indirect SMB, Roaming/Interconnect, and Messaging & Payments, you will contribute significantly to over £1 billion in annual revenue. The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
* Experience in commercial interactions with partners and suppliers in public-sector, infrastructure, IT, or telecommunications programs/contracts.
* Skilled in commercial negotiation.
* Proficient in commercial modelling, with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
* Expertise in contract management and drafting.
* Strong customer management and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leadership teams (SLT) and executives.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
The other stuff we are looking for

* Strong capability to identify issues and develop practical solutions in complex contractual situations
* Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure contracts are legally sound.
