This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team delivering critical operational activity, ensuring smooth coordination, accurate data management, and swift resolution of issues. The successful candidate will lead either the Quality Assurance or Revenue Assurance function, depending on final business requirements. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions and projects.
You will oversee escalations, manage work in progress, and drive team performance, while continuously improving processes to enhance service and business outcomes.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you’ll support transformation initiatives, shape and document processes, and confidently present recommendations to senior audiences.
You’ll also oversee governance, risk, and control frameworks, and manage third-party relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to business needs.
This role is based at our Birmingham Eagle Court office, with a current expectation to attend the office twice per week. This requirement may change over time in line with evolving business needs.
O2 Business is our new focused, digital‑first B2B business serving customers across small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as the public sector. Powered by our next‑generation fixed and mobile infrastructure, the new entity will offer a broader portfolio of best‑in‑class solutions – including cloud‑based communication tools, voice and contact centre offerings, and 5G private networks – supported by a culture that prioritises in‑office collaboration, with our teams generally working together on site five days a week
In order to be considered for this role you must have the following skills:
- Previous success in a role requiring people management, with confidence in leading performance conversations, providing constructive feedback and addressing challenging situations; supported by the willingness to develop management capability through training and coaching.
- Highly organised and adaptable, with proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, and meet SLA’s while working under pressure, using initiative and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Demonstrable Commercial awareness interpreting performance KPI’s and root cause analysis to support improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence across multiple areas of the business.
- Proven experience in identifying and managing risk, with the ability to implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and make informed decisions.
