Internal Audit Manager

As an Audit Manager within our Finance and Strategy directorate, you’ll play a key role in strengthening the effectiveness of processes and controls across Virgin Media O₂. 

Working to the Group Internal Audit plan, you’ll lead end to end internal audit engagements that provide meaningful insight, assurance and value to the business, covering a wide range of operational, regulatory, governance and ESG related areas. 

You’ll take ownership of planning, delivery and reporting for your audits, working closely with senior stakeholders and control owners to identify risks, evaluate controls and support practical remediation. Alongside this, you’ll contribute to the annual Internal Controls over Financial Reporting programme, help lead internal audit projects and support the wider team through collaboration, coaching and high quality delivery

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with a strong academic background
• Post qualified experience in internal audit
• Experience managing end to end audit engagements and delivering high quality reports
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders

• Experience of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting or SOX style frameworks
• Exposure to large, complex or regulated organisations
• Experience leading or coaching others on audit assignments
• Knowledge of data privacy, ESG or customer focused audits
