This role sits at the heart of how we connect customers to our network, making sure the civil works needed to deliver our services are planned, coordinated and completed smoothly. As a Construction Coordinator at Level 2, you’ll play a key part in enabling underground and overground works that allow customers to get up and running, often in complex environments where accuracy, safety and clear communication really matter.Working across residential civils activity, you’ll coordinate jobs from start to finish, using network plans, mapping and cost information to brief contractors and keep work moving. You’ll balance customer needs, local authority requirements, budgets and health and safety, while working closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues, manage jeopardy and keep installations on track. It’s a role that combines organisation, problem solving and a strong customer mindset, with opportunities to support new starters and help improve how the team works.

The must haves
• Ability to read and understand network drawings, plans and related documentation
• Strong communication skills, with experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines
• Confident using PC applications, including Excel and Outlook
The other stuff we are looking for
• Knowledge of statutory and street works codes of practice
• Understanding of Openreach or similar network systems
• Experience managing budgets or monitoring costs against agreed limits
• Exposure to planning meetings with partners or contractors
• Experience supporting process improvements or training new starters
