Here at Virgin Media O2, we are looking for an Account Executive to join our dynamic Commercial team to support the development of our most strategic partnerships. You will collaborate alongside some of the world’s leading technology and media companies, be the driving force of our strategy and help to build an industry differentiated, customer centred suite of products and services that return long-term growth and profitability for our business.

You will be responsible for managing and growing the performance of a portfolio of key device and ecosystem partners, supporting the delivery of commercial, customer, and go-to-market objectives. In this role you focus on executing partner strategy, delivering joint plans, and ensuring strong day-to-day partner performance. Working closely with more senior partnership leaders, the Account Executive helps translate strategic objectives into effective commercial outcomes, acting as a trusted operational and commercial interface with partners.

This role requires strong commercial capability, structured account management, and the ability to collaborate effectively, playing a pivotal role in delivering on our ambitions making us the UK’s network of choice for customers. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Manage day-to-day account ownership for a defined portfolio of key partners, with oversight from senior partnership leadership
  • Support the development and execution of joint business plans (JBPs) aligned to device strategy and commercial priorities
  • Deliver commercial performance against agreed targets, including revenue, margin, and partner investment
  • Support commercial negotiations including pricing, funding, launch support, and contractual terms
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective partner execution, including launches, promotions, and lifecycle management
  • Track and report on partner performance, KPIs, risks, and opportunities, escalating issues where required
  • Contribute to go-to-market planning and execution, including marketing, communications, and channel readiness

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Experience in account management, partnerships, or commercial roles within telecommunications, devices, consumer electronics, or adjacent technology sectors
  • Experience managing key or strategic partners with measurable commercial outcomes
  • Solid understanding of commercial frameworks, including revenue models, margins, and investment tracking
  • Experience supporting or contributing to partner negotiations and JBPs
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of devices, services, ecosystems, and go-to-market models within telecoms or consumer tech
The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • A passion for learning about new technologies, industries and getting in the mind of our customers
  • Experience working with device OEMs, platform partners, or ecosystem providers
  • Exposure to device launches, portfolio management, or supply coordination
  • Experience supporting co-marketing or GTM activities with partners
  • Understanding of the UK or European telecoms market
