We have an exciting new role for a Team Lead - Network/OSS applications to lead the and drive the performance of the enterprise Monitoring and Assurance team. This is a key operational and strategic role, it would be well suited for a candidate with strong leadership skills and a breadth of knowledge of OSS applications. You will be responsible for a team of 4 OSS Technical Specialists and Analysts whom hold a breadth of experience across Ciena, Nokia, Versa and NNMi. 

You will assist in defining the strategy for OSS working closely with senior management and OSS Architecture teams in ensuring future viability, product roadmaps and delivering projects.

You will also support the evaluation of technology opportunities that structurally advance the operational performance of the company.

The must haves
  • Experience in leading technical teams in a challenging and complex environment
  • An understanding of network technologies
The other stuff we are looking for
  • Experience of OSS tools would be an advantage
  • Familiarity of TMN/TMF and ITIL process and guidance
  • Understanding of confluence, Jira and other technologies
