In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
Proven experience designing and delivering political communications programmes that create impact and influence
Strong understanding of Westminster and Whitehall political mechanics and stakeholders
Ability to effectively convey detailed business issues to political and policy partners
Track record of engaging with government departments, parliamentarians, think tanks, and other key policy influencers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare compelling briefings and represent the business in external meetings
We'd also love you to bring:
Understanding of public policy development across government and political parties
Relationship-building skills, with experience managing multiple collaborators across different functions
Experience working on policy issues such as investment, planning, digital inclusion, security, net zero, or online safety
Familiarity with combined authorities and mayoral policy engagement
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and bring public affairs insights into wider business decision-making
