In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:

• Proven experience designing and delivering political communications programmes that create impact and influence

• Strong understanding of Westminster and Whitehall political mechanics and stakeholders

• Ability to effectively convey detailed business issues to political and policy partners

• Track record of engaging with government departments, parliamentarians, think tanks, and other key policy influencers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare compelling briefings and represent the business in external meetings

We'd also love you to bring:

• Understanding of public policy development across government and political parties

• Relationship-building skills, with experience managing multiple collaborators across different functions

• Experience working on policy issues such as investment, planning, digital inclusion, security, net zero, or online safety

• Familiarity with combined authorities and mayoral policy engagement

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and bring public affairs insights into wider business decision-making
