The Pricing Manager will play a critical role in shaping VMO2’s portfolio and pricing strategy to maximise value, household penetration, and customer outcomes.  The role will be responsible for consumer pricing decisions and controls, including the development of pricing strategies, competitor pricing analysis, forecasting average rates, and evaluating pricing options.


Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Product, Finance and Digital teams, a key focus of this role is to apply pricing expertise, analysis, and insight across the Commercial organisation.


The Pricing Manager will also play a critical role in shaping pricing for new propositions, hardware pricing in market, and optimisation of consumer financing propositions—including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), interestbearing/interestfree credit (IFC), and other financing structures. The role will also support financial optimisation through effective use of hardware vendor rebates and incentives.  

The pricing team sits within the Proposition Evolution Team, working closely with all areas of the Commercial function.

The must haves
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a commercial mindset 
  • Ability to distil & clearly communicate complex information  
  • Experience of understanding drivers of business performance and making commercial data-led decisions 
  • Collaborative, with a track record of effective cross-functional teamwork 
  • Excellent attention to detail  
  • Advanced Excel capability 
  • Prior pricing experience 
  • Familiarity with financing-based commercial constructs such as BNPL, device financing, and interestfree credit 
  • Understanding of commercially funded rebates or incentives (e.g. hardware vendor rebates, promotional funding) and how they impact commercial performance 
  • Experience of managing internal and external stakeholders

  • Dashboarding Skills, especially Tableau 
  • Experience of working in the mobile phone industry
