Senior Data Modeller and Visualization Engineer

In this role, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of data product delivery: designing trusted business layers, building scalable dbt models, and crafting intuitive dashboards in Tableau. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Owners, BI specialists, and engineers to translate complex business needs into elegant, high-impact data solutions. Alongside this, you’ll set the standard for excellence by sharing your expertise in advanced SQL, dbt, and cloud technologies (GCP), ensuring rigorous quality through peer review and governance.

You’ll champion best practices in data storytelling, UX, and data mesh principles, making data accessible, engaging, and trustworthy across the organisation. You’ll take ownership of the technical backlog, drive agile ceremonies, and embed strong data governance and quality processes using tools like Atlan — ensuring transparency and compliance at every step. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your technical depth will directly shape the organisation’s data future.

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• Advanced SQL skills, with proven ability to optimise and debug complex queries
• Hands-on experience building production-grade dbt models
• Strong knowledge of GCP data stack (especially BigQuery)
• Skilled in designing impactful Tableau dashboards
• Track record of delivering data products end-to-end in an agile environment

We'd also love you to bring;

• Experience with Atlan or similar data governance tools
• Familiarity with data mesh principles
