DESIGN OUR NATIONAL RADIO NETWORK
Our Radio Planners are responsible for delivering the network improvement plans across dedicated sites, through use of our innovative radio planning technology. Grow your potential as a Radio Planner Apprentice and join our close-knit team in planning nationwide radio networks, earning a starting salary of £30,000 whilst doing it.
Make things happen
As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside the wider team supporting the rollout of our mobile networks. You’ll be responsible for making sure that radio plans are crafted to meet all requirements and guidelines. As you reach the end of the scheme, we'll ensure you become comfortable with radio propagation and utilise your skills to lead the network planning in your own area. Day-to-day, you could be:
*Data inputting and analysing
*Visiting sites across the UK and interacting with partners
*Negotiating designs and directing their install

What is involved with studying for an apprenticeship?
This apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to become skilled in your role, and combines on the job learning and academic study, where you’ll spend approximately 20% of your working hours completing learning with one of our training providers. At the end of the programme, you’ll receive a nationally recognised qualification.
Having a full UK driving license is essential for this role to allow for travel between different sites and you should be comfortable working at heights following safety training. You will need at least 5 GCSEs level 4-9, or a level 3 equivalent to be eligible for this scheme.

*Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
*An interest in Geography and understanding of how to read maps
*Data handling
This role will be based in our Wythenshawe, Manchester office for approximately 10 months. We are relocating our offices to central Manchester, so successful candidates should be comfortable travelling to central Manchester after this period.
This role is the perfect way to kickstart your career in the Telecommunications industry. Not only will you be supported towards your Level 3 Radio Technician Apprenticeship, but you’ll grow your practical skills quickly through continued shadowing of expert team members. Join us on a starting salary of £30,000 with an increase at 12-months to £33,000. Final landing salaries start from £40,000 upon successful completion.
