Openreach Overhead Specialist - 6 months FTC

We're currently looking for an Overhead Specialist SME to join us on a 6 months fixed term contract to undertake effective and efficient partner management and supervision on XGSPON FTTP networks, specifically the Openreach and Virgin Media O2 overhead networks.

The Overhead Specialist will work with the Senior Project Manager and regional Consumer teams on the co-ordination of key tasks to ensure infrastructure is utilised effectively, delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards. As part of a multi-skilled team, you will be able to provide additional focus by means of technical solutions within the OH cabling infrastructure where additional attention is needed on delivery of services that are problematic.

The role will advise and collaborate with planning and network teams to find easier or more cost-effective cable routes to ensure on time delivery, as well as producing accurate Network Adjustment coaching and guidance to the relative partners, to fully utilize the Openreach Network!

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:

• Knowledge of Telecommunications networks including FTTP, MDR & XGSPON, along with in depth knowledge of Openreach PIA, including CP08
• Knowledge of PIA underground and overhead networks, including appropriate accreditation.
• In depth knowledge of cabling and installation work.
• Experience operating in a customer centric environment with excellent people skills including communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution
• Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is required
