This is a Finance Business Partner role working in Consumer Finance supporting the Commercial Strategy Team led by the Consumer Strategy Director.

The team leads all future looking workstreams impacting the Consumer P&L. The purpose of this role is to embed within this team to provide financial advice, analysis and modelling to all commercial projects, as well as lead on the Long Term planning process for Consumer Revenue. 

This role will need to work collaboratively and in an agile manner cross-functionally, including interacting with the Heads/Directors/senior leaders of various Commercial and Finance divisions across VM and O2.

Duties include; Provision of an effective decision support including performance analysis and optimisation, Contract / negotiation support and financial modelling of initiatives and risks. You will also work cross functionally to support decision making, and complete all reporting and commentary required for month end, monthly rolls, budget and 3YP

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Qualified Finance Professional (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) 
  • Strong Excel modelling skills supported by strong commercial analysis 
  • Ability to quickly build strong working relationships within both Consumer and Finance teams
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, influence and drive decisions

  • Champion change within the division to enable continuous improvements and improve existing reporting with a focus on improving insights. 
  • Ability to articulate, complex and detailed information 
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities and risks, and clearly articulate options to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks
