This role is a 12-month FTC opportunity.
We are seeking a proactive Business Manager to support our Delivery Director. This role is integral in ensuring leadership effectiveness, driving strategic priorities, and influencing decision-making at the highest levels. You will be responsible for providing critical insights, managing key initiatives, and ensuring alignment across business functions in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Collaborating with senior leaders, you will build impactful documentation for executive and board-level discussions, coordinate planning, and contribute significantly to crafting the function's direction.
As a trusted partner to the leadership team, you will have significant involvement in strategic and operational issues, ensuring the right people and information are in place to drive informed decisions. You will work alongside finance teams on budget planning, collaborate with communications teams to shape executive messaging, and ensure consistency in priorities across the wider organisation. Additionally, you will manage key projects, track actions from critical meetings, and provide challenge and guidance on strategic issues. In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
- Strong leadership presence, able to represent the N2 leader in an exceptional way, aligned to VMO2's values
- Experience in understanding, analysing and coordinating complex strategic and operational programs, translating this to the rest of an organisation
- Exceptional relationship Skills – works collaboratively with key interfaces and stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to create and present key documents and presentation decks suitable for C-suite level meetings
- Curious both intellectually and behaviourally
- Exceptional influencing skills at all levels of the organisation
- Strong judgment, decision making, time management and prioritisation
- Strong numeracy skills (in order to support work on Function’s budget)
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Creative and collaborative approach to complex problem solving
We'd also love you to bring;
- Experience within the Telco industry
- Ability to coordinate strategic initiatives
- Understanding of business financials and how a P&L works
- Understanding of corporate governance
