Virgin Media O2 has an enticing role as a Credit Controller. This is a vital role where you will see yourself responsible for debt collection of accounts, ensuring that all our customers are paying to their agreed payment terms / SLAs in an effective and efficient manner keeping our debtor days to minimum.

You will be following the collections and escalation processes to ensure customers are followed up in a timely manner and pay to contractual payment terms.

Working closely with other areas of the business to ensure any queries are resolved, disputes handled, billing is accurate, credits are raised, and sales and service issues are being addressed.

The must haves
  • Performing day-to-day credit management of Business/Enterprise customers in line with agreed follow-up processes, reducing bad debt
  • Providing exception customer service– striving to improve customer experience and deliver world class service at all times
  • Ability to multi-task – managing a range of 50+ challenging Customer accounts, making sure the debt is collected to achieve targets
  • Effective communication via all available means (phone, email, teams) to build relationships and using initiative to collect aged debt
  • Business Credit Control experience within a large organisation offering multiple products and services to a large amount of customers

  • The ability to talk to people at all levels 
  • Experience of working well under pressure to stretching targets and tight timescales
  • Effective knowledge within Credit Control and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
