As a Statutory and Streetworks Specialist, you will manage and build relationships with local authorities and partners, holding regular performance reviews to drive improvements, and playing a key role in ensuring any communications received by local authorities or Virgin Media O2 partners are processed and managed to successful conclusion!
Activities will include working through various documents (such as invoices, reminders, statutory penalties, etc.), using the regulations as a guide, and the appropriate system to assess, validate and determine accountability, in line with legalisation and VMO2 contractual processes.
The role will involve the understanding and functionality of national Streetworks systems and registers, customer management tools and financial processes. Whilst this is a regional role with regional accountabilities, there will be requirement for ad-hoc travel for team meetings, training (as required) and business SME support.

- Experience in interpreting street works legislation and codes of practice into everyday actions and creating and promoting effective processes.
- The ability to communicate and engage confidently, clearly, and effectively across a wide range of audiences including senior level partners
- Experience of supporting or training colleagues
- A proven ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise well
- A track record of developing and driving relationship building with colleagues, customers (internal/external at all levels), and partners
- Knowledge of MS Office packages including outlook
- Ability to think logically and critically under team pressures
