This role is responsible for partnering with the Business & Wholesale division with respect to install costs (costs to connect customer properties to the VMO2 network, inc. civils, equipment, out of hours work, blockages etc.). It will play a key part in the relationship with Business and Network expansion delivery teams, ensuring clear linkage of investment to organisation strategy. It is crucial in facilitating a strong understanding of spend and associated benefits and will drive improved performance.
Responsibilities will include working closely with Finance and Business leaders, to ensure effective optimisation of spend, including reporting, analysis of results, target setting, and understanding variances to plan.
You will ensure a robust month-end process by working with the Financial Operations team to ensure results are reported in a timely and accurate manner, as well as create clear and accurate reporting and presentation material to communicate to SLT in an impactful way. You will become a trusted advisor to key senior stakeholders, across finance and the business on all matters relating to Install cost management for the Business division.
You will also be responsible for supporting cross-division cost reduction activity, proactively identify risk and opportunities within the plan to ensure early corrective action is taken by business owners and ensure tracking in place.

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
• A Qualified Accountant with experience and understanding of accounting principles
• Strong analytical mind set and proficiency with MS Excel
• Ability to develop strong working relationships within finance
• Self-motivated with minimal need for direction or supervision and the ability to prioritise workload, process details and evaluate problems
