We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Democratisation Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our data democratisation strategy. The Data Democratisation Architect will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable and sustainable solutions that enable seamless access to data, promote self-service analytics, and drive data literacy across the organisation.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Proven experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles, with a focus on data democratisation initiatives. 
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data security standards. 
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, and self-service analytics solutions. 
  • Proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, data integration, and data visualisation tools.

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  •  Experience with Data Mesh architecture and its application in large-scale data environments is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • TOGAF certification is desirable, and experience with Business Architecture is highly desirable
  • Certifications in data management, data architecture, or related areas are desirable
