This role is part of the Tesco Mobile team and will be based out Manchester office. The successful candidate will have a key input in handling the day to billing operation activities that ensure our billing and debt operation for customers runs efficiently. It will involve ensuring that key talks are completed on time, supporting our care operation and the business within agreed time scales. The role will also provide the opportunity to analyse the reasons why customers contact us for billing to tease out improvements that increase our customers’ happiness with billing. You will also help with automating and outsourcing day to day activities and supporting larger other in-life changes as a billing expert.

The must haves
In order to be considered, you should have the following experience;

 • An inquisitive and analytical approach to situations, using that attitude of an excellent problem solver. 
 • A very high attention to detail in all activities to ensure billing accuracy for our customers 
 • Great communication skills
 • Ability to work with a diverse range of collaborators from across the business and third-party suppliers
 • Strong Excel and SQL skills
The other stuff we are looking for
We'd also love you to;
 • Support the weekly bill checks, process the bill run requests, bill notifications, and raise any issues identified as required.
 • Identify and implement improvements within the billing operation that are identified from customer complaints and contact reasons to help improve the end-to-end billing experience.
 • Analyse debt sale queries from our debt purchase partner and respond within given timescale, identify route cause, and resolve fixes as appropriate. 
 • Process all insolvency requests received via multi-channel sources. Handle each request optimally and ensure we remain aligned with the Insolvency Act
 • Provide effective Reporting and Analysis when required on any trends and frequencies
